Role:
In this role, you design a reliable and secure system operation and ensure that the underlying IT infrastructure is stable, performant, and well maintained. You take responsibility for the operation, monitoring, and further development of the systems and platforms and ensure that they meet current and future requirements. You analyse faults and vulnerabilities, derive appropriate measures, and implement optimisations in a structured and sustainable manner. Additionally, you plan and coordinate changes and expansions of the infrastructure, document these comprehensibly, and ensure smooth operation in daily business. Through your professional approach, you contribute decisively to users being able to rely on a stable, secure, and efficient system environment.
Responsibilities:
- You operate, install, and maintain Windows servers, clients, as well as access and identity management
- In this role, you are responsible for vulnerability and patch management for IT and OT systems
- As a specialist in system operation and infrastructure, you advise on Microsoft cloud, network, virtualisation, and licensing solutions and implement them
- You plan, coordinate, and realise internal and external IT projects together with internal teams and external partners
- In this role, you further develop IT security, monitor the threat situation, and define appropriate response measures
- You ensure solution-oriented support for IT and OT users remotely and on-site
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally with a focus on platform development or system technology
- Professional experience in system or application operation or IT support
- Practical experience in several of the following areas: Windows client, Windows server, VMware, Fortinet, Cisco, and PowerShell
- Structured, independent, and responsible working style
- Enjoyment of technical challenges and solving complex tasks
- High initiative, networked thinking, strong service orientation, and very good German language skills in spoken and written form
