Automation Technician (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Diagnosis, repair and testing of spectrophotometers, densitometers as well as image and colour measuring devices

• Carrying out calibration and verification tasks

• Performing repairs according to standard operating procedures, service manuals and quality requirements

• Ensuring that repaired devices meet the functional, metrological and optical quality requirements before release

• Processing incoming devices in the RMA process (e.g. Oracle)

• Ensuring full traceability of all devices from goods receipt to dispatch.

• Supporting shipping and logistics activities, including inspection, packaging and shipping preparation.

• Complete and accurate documentation of

  fault analysis and root cause identification, repair measures and used spare parts, calibration results and service reports

What do I need to be successful?

• Technical training or apprenticeship in electronics, mechatronics, precision mechanics or a comparable field

• Experience in repair, calibration or technical service of measuring or laboratory equipment (depot or laboratory environment advantageous)

• Strong electromechanical fault finding skills.

• Ability to understand and apply technical documentation and service manuals.

• Experience with ERP/service systems as well as Microsoft Office
