What awaits you.
An innovative working environment awaits you in the newest operations centre in Switzerland. In collaboration with your colleagues, you actively monitor the technical situation of the SBB network in French-speaking Switzerland and contribute to its restoration during disruptions as well as its development during planned works. You operate within an organisation active day and night with modern tools and a collaborative culture that places safety and reliability at the forefront. Teamwork: You consider irregular hours and shift work as an advantage to enjoy your free time while others work. With us, working nights and weekends entitles you to additional pay, e.g. CHF 16.- per hour for Sunday work. Time bonuses of 10 to 30% are granted for night work, giving you more free time. Social benefits: To learn about social benefits, such as free AG travel and discounted trips abroad (also for family), please visit our website under Social Benefits.
What you can move.
- You are the first contact in case of technical disruptions on the SBB network (Energy, digital, railway) which you monitor 24/7 all year round from the operations centre.
- With modern and dynamic working tools, you provide information on the network status. During technical disruptions, you identify and analyse alarms and events and document them in the various systems.
- You mobilise, coordinate and assist technicians on site to minimise the impact for our customers.
- Within SBB, you inform about current technical events and disruptions.
- You monitor compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA), actively contribute to generating improvement proposals and thus create added value for our customers.
What you bring.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, quick understanding of situations and assertiveness.
- Strong customer orientation and solution-focused working methodology. Thoughtful, dynamic and flexible, you live these values daily. You act and think in a network and bring concrete added value for our customers.
- You work independently and efficiently and are willing to work irregular hours, nights and weekends.
- Native French speaker with a very good knowledge of a second national language, and willing to learn them.
- You have completed technical training preferably in railway-related fields such as electrical, digital or telecommunications.
- Experience in an operations centre or in an operational management centre of a railway transport company is a plus.
