For our client, a large and well-known catering chain in the Basel area, we are looking for a Head Chef (100%) to start immediately or by arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for all processes in the kitchen
- Participation in the implementation of the vision
- Leadership and coaching of the kitchen team (4-8 people, depending on the season)
- Monitoring, compliance and implementation of the hygiene concept
- Design of menu planning and costing
- Cost control, ordering system as well as close cooperation with suppliers
- Experience as a head chef or sous chef
- Professional experience in traditional and modern cuisine
- You have the talent to reinterpret traditional dishes
- Good knowledge in the field of food hygiene
- Inspiring personality who can lead and motivate the team
- Communication skills in Italian as well as German
- Organised and structured way of working
