Role:

You don’t want to manage infrastructure but design it as code? That is exactly what this position is about. As a Senior Infrastructure-as-Code Engineer, you are responsible for automating on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments and defining the technical direction. With Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and clear standards, you make deployments reproducible and secure. Those who want to combine architecture and hands-on work will find real scope for creativity here.

Responsibilities:

• You develop the infrastructure-as-code architecture and set binding standards for automated deployments.

• With reusable Terraform modules, you map servers, networks, storage, platforms, and cloud resources.

• Additionally, you build pipelines for changes, testing, and lifecycle processes including guardrails and automated validations.

• You integrate Kubernetes and container infrastructures into automated provisioning processes and embed hardening and compliance in the code.

• In complex incidents, you lead the technical analysis across multiple layers and design robust recovery and disaster recovery mechanisms.

• You also practically test new cloud and automation technologies and refine best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering form your foundation, ideally with Windows and/or Linux systems.

• You know complex Terraform setups in detail and handle state, providers, variables, and modules confidently.

• You prefer to automate configurations with Ansible and write clean code in Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash.

• Furthermore, you are familiar with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows for infrastructure code.

• You have a solid understanding of network architectures, from firewalling and load balancing to routing, DNS, and TCP/IP.

• Additionally, you impress with experience in observability, secrets management, and security by design, and you analyse dependencies across virtualisation, cloud, and storage in a structured manner.
