As part of a mandate with a client, we are looking for a building pollutants expert, specialised in the identification, diagnosis and assessment of hazardous substances present in buildings.

You will work on various construction, renovation and demolition projects, in collaboration with clients, architects, engineers and construction companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Carry out building pollutants diagnostics before work, renovation or demolition.
• Identify materials likely to contain asbestos, PCBs, PAHs and other hazardous substances.
• Conduct on-site inspections and organise necessary sampling.
• Write diagnostic reports and provide technical recommendations.
• Advise clients on protective measures and remediation procedures.
• Ensure compliance with current Swiss standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the various stakeholders involved in construction projects.

Your Profile

• Technical training in building, civil engineering, environment or equivalent field.
• Successful Swiss national exam for building pollutants diagnostician, or recognised equivalent qualification.
• Good knowledge of building pollutants, notably asbestos, PCBs and PAHs.
• Experience in diagnostics and on-site investigations.
• Knowledge of Swiss regulations and remediation procedures.
• Excellent writing skills and fluency in French.
• Autonomy, rigour, organisational skills and interpersonal ease.
• Category B driving licence preferred.
