Role:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual for the comprehensive management of demanding building construction projects in the areas of public buildings, infrastructure, and residential construction. You will independently lead construction projects from planning through tendering and execution planning to realisation, taking responsibility for costs, deadlines, and quality. The projects are consistently developed and coordinated using digital planning methods and BIM / ArchiCAD 3D. In addition to technical and organisational project responsibility, you will lead the project team and manage collaboration with clients, authorities, specialist planners, and contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for project management of building construction projects from planning through tendering to realisation and handover

• Management of projects through the relevant SIA service phases and ensuring a structured and continuous project execution

• Responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality management including project controlling and early management of deviations

• Professional leadership and coordination of the project team consisting of architects, draftsmen, and other project participants

• Coordination and management of clients, authorities, specialist planners, specialists, and contractors

• Conducting planning, project, and coordination meetings and ensuring consistent decision-making and action item management

• Management of BIM-based planning with ArchiCAD 3D and coordination of digital specialist models across the various planning phases

• Responsibility for building permit applications and approval procedures as well as coordination of necessary clarifications with authorities and specialist offices

• Management of tendering, submissions, and awards and monitoring of relevant cost and contract bases

• Quality assurance of execution and detailed planning regarding construction, materials, compliance with standards, and feasibility

• Ensuring compliance with building laws, SIA standards, regulations, and project-specific quality requirements

• Support during the realisation phase and coordination of planning and technical issues until completion

Qualifications:

• Education as Architect FH/ETH, Certified Technician HF Building Planning/Architecture or comparable construction-technical qualification

• Several years of experience in project management and realisation of building construction projects in Switzerland

• Sound knowledge of the relevant planning, tendering, and execution phases as well as experience in leading project teams

• Very good knowledge of ArchiCAD 3D / BIM, construction administration software, as well as Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud

• Comprehensive knowledge of Swiss building legislation, SIA standards, constructions, and materials

• Experience in cost, schedule, and quality management as well as coordination of clients, authorities, and specialist planners

• Very good German language skills spoken and written
