Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Project Manager / Architect for the realisation of demanding residential construction projects in the Zurich region. The focus is on the further development and implementation of award-winning competition projects from detailed planning to realisation. The position combines architectural design, constructive detail development and project management with a high standard of design and execution quality. You will work in an established architectural environment on high-quality projects across several planning and realisation phases.

Responsibilities:

• Project management of demanding residential construction projects from the further development of the competition design to execution and completion

• Conversion of competition and design concepts into technically, economically and aesthetically convincing execution projects

• Development and coordination of project, execution and detailed planning taking into account the relevant SIA phases

• Development of constructive solutions and demanding architectural details in close coordination with specialist planners and experts

• Creation and processing of CAD/BIM planning documents with Archicad as well as ensuring consistent planning quality

• Coordination of specialist planners, clients, authorities and other project participants as well as professional leadership of internal project processing

• Ensuring project goals regarding architectural quality, costs, deadlines and execution quality

• Support of building permit procedures and coordination of the necessary planning and approval documents

• Assistance with tenders, contractor awards and execution decisions in collaboration with the involved project partners

• Conducting plan reviews and quality controls as well as accompanying implementation on site

• Application of relevant SIA standards and Swiss building regulations in planning and realisation

Qualifications:

• Degree in Architecture ETH/FH or comparable recognised architectural education

• Several years of professional experience in project management and execution planning of demanding architectural or residential construction projects in Switzerland

• Solid knowledge in design, construction, detailing and realisation

• Good knowledge of SIA phases, Swiss building standards and approval procedures

• User knowledge in Archicad, ideally experience with BIM-based planning processes

• Experience in the implementation of competition projects is an advantage

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
