Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a specialist as a Building Services Engineer Sanitary for the planning of modern and sustainable sanitary systems in versatile building projects. You will be involved from the concept and project planning phase through to execution planning in technically demanding solutions for drinking water, hot water and drainage. You will work closely with other HVAC/E disciplines as well as architecture and the client, using contemporary digital planning methods. Depending on your education and experience, you will gradually take on additional responsibility in specialist planning, coordination and project management.
Responsibilities:
Planning and project design of sanitary systems for new construction, renovation and refurbishment projects
Development of technical concepts for drinking water, hot water, circulation and wastewater systems
Carrying out dimensioning and technical calculations for pipe networks and sanitary installations
Creation of schematic diagrams, project, execution and detail plans as well as technical documentation
Processing and maintenance of 3D/BIM models for digital building services planning
Coordination of sanitary planning with the specialist areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and electrical (HVAC/E)
Coordination of planning with architects, clients, specialist planners and contractors
Preparation of quantity take-offs, specifications and tender documents
Support in the technical review of contractor offers and execution documents
Application of relevant SIA standards, SVGW guidelines and Swiss building services standards
Support of project management in cost, schedule and quality controls
Depending on experience, supervision of execution including specialist site management, acceptance and commissioning
Qualifications:
Degree as Building Services Engineer Sanitary EFZ, Technician HF Building Services, Engineer FH Building Services HVAC or comparable university degree in engineering
Expertise or initial professional experience in planning and project design of sanitary systems
Knowledge of drinking water, hot water and drainage systems and interest in their technical design
Experience with CAD and/or BIM-based building services planning is an advantage
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and SVGW guidelines or willingness to deepen these
Interest in integrated HVAC/E planning and digital planning methods
Good German language skills spoken and written
