Employee for Inpatient Admission/Cost Assurance (m/f/d) 100%
from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.Your Tasks
- Clarification of patient and insurance data with insurers, residents' registration offices and cantonal authorities
- Timely cost assurance of inpatient hospital stays, including obtaining extension or reconsideration requests
- Handling administrative patient admission at the counter with direct patient contact
- Preparation of cost estimates and monitoring of deposit payments
- Telephone and written contact with patients and their relatives, insurers, authorities and employers
- Responsibility for and collaboration in the main cash desk
Your Profile
- Commercial training and further education – experience in healthcare or health insurance in a similar role
- Good knowledge of social insurance
- Proficient use of common information systems and MS Office applications
- Good foreign language skills in English (at least B1) are expected; knowledge of French and/or Italian is desirable
- Precise, goal-oriented and efficient working style
- High service orientation, good manners and empathy in dealing with patients
- Team-oriented cooperative personality
