In this role, you design modern, reliable IT solutions that are flexible and cost-effective, tailored to the needs of various customers. You take responsibility for demanding system landscapes on-premise, in the cloud, and in hybrid environments, ensuring their stable, secure, and high-performance operation. You plan, implement, and optimise complex infrastructures and ensure seamless integration into existing systems. You are also responsible for the professional operation and further development of a powerful cloud environment and ensure proactive, sustainable IT operations. Through your foresight, you contribute decisively to ensuring that demanding IT infrastructures run smoothly at all times.
Responsibilities:
Support and strategic optimisation of heterogeneous customer infrastructures in hybrid environments.
Planning, integration, and administration of modern workplace, server, and virtualisation solutions.
Execution of lifecycle, upgrade, and maintenance activities to ensure high availability.
Technical advice to users and support with demanding infrastructure issues.
Analysis of complex fault patterns and taking over technical escalation support at expert level.
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or IT operations.
Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint management, Teams, and modern device management concepts.
Experience with VMware technologies, virtual desktop environments, and hybrid operating models.
Strong problem-solving skills, self-organisation, and enthusiasm for continuous technological development.
Fluent communication in German as well as good English skills and confident appearance towards customers.
