Role:
Responsibility for the stable and secure operation of business-critical IT systems in a regulated environment.
Connecting IT operations, security, cloud infrastructure, and 3rd-level support with a high demand for availability, resilience, and quality.
Active participation in further developments, migrations, automation, and continuous optimisation of operational processes.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring productive systems as well as analysing resources, performance, and capacities
Support with deployments and releases
Further development of IT security, system and network hardening, and monitoring
Planning and implementation of backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity
Handling complex technical faults and tickets in 3rd-level support
Technical escalation in critical incidents as well as performing necessary data corrections
Operation and further development of server, network, cloud, and internal IT systems
Support of migrations and resolution of technical faults
Maintenance of documentation, processes, as well as security and quality standards
Qualifications:
Completed IT education (EFZ, degree) or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in IT operations and support of business-critical production systems
Sound knowledge in IT security, system and network hardening, monitoring, and incident response
Experience with ISMS/CISO and ISO 27001 is an advantage
Confident handling of Linux, Shell, and SQL
Knowledge in shell scripting or other programming is an advantage
Solid network and firewall know-how including zoning and security aspects
Experience with cloud solutions as well as macOS, Office 365, and Windows clients
Experience in 3rd-level support and complex fault analysis
Structured and responsible working style with a strong understanding of processes and documentation
Interest in AI and automation in IT operations and security
Languages
Fluent German
Good technical English
