What you can contribute to

• Develop the inventory of atmospheric pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions and participate in preparing data to be submitted to international organisations
• Participate in the development, testing and commissioning of new inventory management software
• Collect, calculate and model data from various emission sources
• Develop procedures for establishing emission cadastres in Switzerland
• Provide support within other projects of the Air Protection and Chemicals division

What makes you unique

• University degree in natural sciences, computer science or engineering
• Good knowledge of Python programming or a similar language, and experience with software acceptance testing
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, ability to think in networks and interest in collaborating on interdisciplinary projects
• Motivated, proactive and service-oriented personality, showing a keen interest in working within a public administration
• Good active knowledge of at least one other official language and English

• The degree (Bachelor or Master) must not be older than 18 months before the start date
