Project Manager in Fire Protection

The Fire Protection Competence Centre of the MES - Migros Engineering Solutions division is the central point of contact for all fire protection matters within the Migros community. It is actively involved in the development of the subject, both inside and outside the Migros community.

Important notes: Responsibility for numerous projects in Romandy and member of a team based in Zurich

What you accomplish

• Advice and support to Migros group companies in fire protection for the implementation of effective and economical fire protection measures
• Fire protection services in projects (design, planning, optimisation, control, quality assurance)
• Supervision and support of specialised planners and experts involved in the planning and construction process in the field of fire protection
• Internal training of Migros group staff in the application of internal fire protection standards
• Representation of Migros' interests as client/operator with authorities and project partners

What you bring

• Education: Completed studies (Uni/VET, UAS, ES)
• Specialisation: In engineering or architecture with additional training as a VKF fire protection expert
• Professional experience: Several years of professional experience in fire protection in supporting construction projects
• Extensive project experience in the role of AEAI expert or AEAI fire protection specialist
• Willingness to contribute your expertise in construction projects as well as in building lifecycle management for the entire portfolio
• Leading negotiations with fire protection authorities and project stakeholders
• Diplomatic behaviour and economic thinking for the development and implementation of optimal solutions
• Social skills and communication ability based on facts and analyses
• French (C1)
• Swiss German (B2)
