Midwife (M/F)

As part of strengthening its teams, a well-known hospital in the Lausanne region is looking for Midwives (M/F) for temporary assignments.

You will join a committed multidisciplinary team and help support patients throughout their maternity journey, in a demanding and humane professional environment.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure the follow-up of patients before, during and after childbirth.
• Manage physiological deliveries and participate in obstetric monitoring.
• Ensure the well-being of the mother and the newborn.
• Support and assist families throughout their stay.
• Work closely with medical and nursing teams.
• Guarantee the quality and safety of care in accordance with current protocols.

Your profile

• Midwife diploma recognised in Switzerland or foreign qualification with Swiss Red Cross recognition.
• Experience in maternity and/or delivery room preferred.
• Sense of responsibility and excellent adaptability.
• Team spirit, kindness and recognised interpersonal skills.
• Availability for temporary assignments according to your wishes.
