What you can achieve.

• As an Industrial Specialist Technician, you carry out demanding refurbishment and maintenance work, repairs, and overhauls on components of diesel and special vehicles.
• You replace and test components and implement control and modification orders according to SBB specifications.
• You recognise deviations early and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• If necessary, you skilfully manufacture special constructions and thus contribute significantly to smooth rail traffic in Switzerland.
• You actively participate in continuous improvement processes, measure and document process steps, and keep your work clean and traceable.
• Together as a team, you find economical solutions and contribute constructive improvement suggestions.

What you bring with you.

• You enjoy working in a team but also complete tasks independently and responsibly. You handle changes calmly, are flexible, and enjoy a varied and diverse field of activity.
• Since all instructions are available electronically, you work confidently with MS Office and SAP applications.
• You have a high awareness of safety and quality, a quick grasp, as well as willingness to learn and flexibility.
• Due to safety requirements, good health is important: unrestricted hearing and vision as well as physical resilience.
• For this role, you have completed a recognised vocational training EFZ in a craft field (e.g., polymechanic, production mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic) and have several years of experience in an industrial environment.
• You also have good oral and written German or French skills (at least B1). Additional national languages are a plus.
