Security Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
You will further develop the technical security landscape and implement protective measures that sustainably secure systems, networks, and digital business processes.
You evaluate new security technologies, create technical concepts, and accompany their integration into existing IT environments.
You check systems and infrastructures for security vulnerabilities, assess risks, and derive concrete improvement measures.
You assist in detecting, analysing, and handling cyberattacks and security incidents and contribute to the further development of incident response processes.
You document security concepts and technical changes, support audits and compliance requirements, and collaborate with internal teams as well as external security partners.
Qualifications:
You have a solid education in computer science or cyber security or have acquired comparable technical knowledge through professional experience.
You have experience in securing IT infrastructures and ideally bring knowledge in security monitoring, vulnerability management, or incident response.
You understand network and system architectures and are familiar with relevant security solutions, such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewall technologies, or identity security.
You work analytically, structured, and solution-oriented and can assess and communicate technical risks clearly.
You are interested in current attack methods, new protection technologies, and the continuous improvement of security processes. Team spirit, initiative, and a careful working style characterise you.
