In this position, you take on the technical and organisational responsibility for demanding hydromechanical plant projects in the hydropower environment. You accompany projects from planning through procurement and documentation to successful commissioning directly at the customer site. With your understanding of hydraulics, mechanical engineering, and plant operation, you ensure reliable implementation and act as the central interface between customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and execution of power plant and plant construction projects focusing on hydromechanical components
Support of technical solutions in the field of oil and water hydraulics as well as intelligent measurement and monitoring systems
Planning and execution of commissioning of hydromechanical power plant equipment with regular on-site assignments
Creation and maintenance of functional, control, and plant schematics as well as technical project documentation
Preparation of documents for assembly, operation, maintenance, and servicing
Coordination of timely material procurement for assigned projects
Execution and accompaniment of factory acceptance tests at suppliers and partner companies
Ensuring efficient collaboration with project teams, customers, and suppliers
Monitoring project progress, technical requirements, and quality throughout the project phase
Support in technical optimisations and further development of existing plant solutions
Qualifications:
Completed mechanical basic training with further education as a FH mechanical engineer, HF technician, or comparable technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in plant construction, mechanical engineering, or industrial project environment
Experience in commissioning hydraulic systems or complex technical plants is an advantage
Enjoyment of practical customer assignments and regular work directly on plants
Good knowledge of technical project management and preparation of technical documentation
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication and teamwork skills in dealing with internal and external partners
High initiative, resilience, and strong sense of responsibility
Very good English skills; French and/or Italian skills are an advantage
Fluent German skills
