Role:
In this role, you develop and optimise embedded software in C/C++ for demanding applications and ensure robust, high-performance solutions. You take responsibility for the design, implementation, and testing of software components in close coordination with hardware requirements. You analyse and resolve complex error patterns, conduct code reviews, and ensure compliance with defined quality standards. You contribute your own ideas, evaluate new technologies, and thus continuously improve architecture, development processes, and toolchain. Additionally, you document your work in a structured manner and support other departments with your technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- You develop, integrate, test, and document embedded software in C/C++
- You actively contribute in the areas of functional safety and cybersecurity
- In this role, you significantly shape system concepts and system architectures
- You create software architectures and derive clear software requirements from them
- As an embedded developer, you collaborate in the agile development process with interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Completed studies (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) in electrical engineering or computer science
- Several years of experience in embedded software development with embedded Linux and/or RTOS
- Very good programming skills in C and C++
- Confident handling of Ethernet communication technologies
- Familiar with object-oriented architecture and design, for example with UML
- Experience using tools and technologies such as Jenkins and Python
