Project Manager Sanitary (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for project management and specialist planning of sanitary installations in an innovative Swiss building technology environment. You will take responsibility for demanding sanitary projects in new construction and refurbishment and accompany these from technical conception through planning to execution and commissioning. The focus is on the dimensioning and planning of sanitary technical systems, coordination with clients and specialist planners, as well as management of costs, schedules and quality. The position combines independent project management responsibility with the development of economical, energy-efficient and standards-compliant building technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Independent management and coordination of sanitary projects through the relevant SIA project phases from preliminary study to realisation

• Planning and design of sanitary technical systems for residential, commercial and other building projects

• Development of sanitary concepts and technical solution proposals for drinking water supply, hot water preparation and building drainage

• Execution of sanitary technical calculations and dimensioning including pipe networks, pressure losses and hot water systems

• Preparation and review of project, tender and execution documents including technical specifications and bills of quantities

• Responsibility for cost planning, schedule management and quality assurance including budget control and project controlling

• Coordination with clients, architects, HVAC specialist planners and executing installation companies to align technical interfaces

• Technical leadership and coordination of internal project processing as well as review of CAD plans, technical calculations and execution details

• Conducting offer comparisons and tender preparations as well as support with contracts and technical contractor discussions

• Technical supervision of construction execution including site inspections, execution clarifications and quality checks

• Organisation and accompaniment of functional tests, commissioning and system acceptance including defect management and handover documentation

• Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA, SVGW and VSA guidelines as well as applicable hygiene, energy and safety requirements

Qualifications:

• Completed further education as a building services engineer FH, technician HF building services with a focus on sanitary or comparable higher professional education

• Professional experience as a project manager sanitary in the planning, design or realisation of building services systems

• Sound expertise in drinking water installations, hot water preparation, building drainage and sanitary technical dimensioning

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards as well as SVGW and VSA guidelines and relevant building services and construction regulations

• Experience in cost and schedule planning, tendering and technical coordination of sanitary projects

• Good knowledge of common CAD, building services and project management software as well as Microsoft Office

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation, project reports and coordination with clients and specialist planners
