Role:
In this role, you will design the networking and security of IT and OT environments in the context of Industry 4.0, (I)IoT, cloud, security, and digitalisation. You will take responsibility for demanding IT-OT projects in an international environment, ensuring stable, high-performance, and secure network solutions. Especially in qualified and validated environments, you will ensure that network and security requirements are professionally implemented. With your expertise, you contribute to sustainably securing innovative and customer-specific solutions. In doing so, you make a decisive contribution to the successful digital transformation of demanding production and laboratory environments.
Responsibilities:
You plan and implement complex projects to further develop industrial IT-OT networks and security solutions.
You take technical leadership of sub-projects and coordinate implementation with internal departments and external partners.
You analyse network and security faults at 2nd and 3rd level and develop sustainable solutions for ongoing operations.
You are responsible for controlled infrastructure operations, including changes, technical documentation, and operating manuals.
You accompany tests, qualifications, and validations and ensure complete documentation of the activities carried out.
Qualifications:
You have completed a degree in computer science or a comparable technical education.
You have several years of experience in planning, implementing, and supporting IT-OT network and security environments and are very familiar with Cisco and Palo Alto technologies.
You bring solid practical experience in IT-OT projects, ideally from an industrial, pharmaceutical, or comparable regulated environment.
You have knowledge in requirements engineering, business analysis, and computer system validation and are familiar with ITIL.
Ideally, you hold relevant certifications such as CCNA or PCNSE and communicate confidently in German and English.
