The Schürmatt Foundation is a centre of expertise for unique special educational services in the canton of Aargau. We employ around 440 staff at 13 locations. The majority work in the education, support and care of people with disabilities.
We are looking for a competent individual at the Zetzwil location from 10 August 2026 or by arrangement as
Specialist Residential Care for Children and Adolescents
Workload 80%
Your main tasks
You care for and support 7 children and adolescents with cognitive and physical disabilities and sometimes challenging behaviours
Together with your team members, you enable the clients of the residential group to participate in social life
You enrich everyday life with daily structuring activities and support the personal development and independence of the clients
You take responsibility for the social pedagogical process design and for interdisciplinary exchange with internal and external specialist agencies, relatives and legal representatives
You contribute to achieving the departmental and operational goals as well as to the further development of the Schürmatt Foundation
Your profile
Completed studies in social pedagogy or social work HF / FH, training as a specialist in care for people with disabilities, specialist for supporting people with disabilities
Experience in supporting and caring for people with disabilities and challenging behaviours
Cooperative and partnership-based working style with an active feedback culture
Creative and flexible mindset, strong assertiveness
Mental and physical resilience
Good IT user skills
Willingness to work irregular hours, but no night shifts
Ideally driving licence category B
