Architect/Construction Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the holistic planning and realisation of demanding architectural projects. You will accompany construction projects from design through detailed and execution planning to completion, combining architectural ambition with practical implementation. The position combines architecture, construction, and site management and accordingly offers significant responsibility at the interfaces between planning and the construction site. In collaboration with clients, specialist planners, and contractors, you ensure a high-quality, timely, and cost-effective realisation.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive handling of architectural projects across several SIA phases from planning to completion
Further development of design and project solutions considering aesthetic, constructive, and economic requirements
Creation and processing of project, detail, working, and execution plans
Development of practical construction and detail solutions
Coordination of architecture, specialist planning, contractors, and other project participants
Preparation and organisation of construction execution including scheduling and timeline planning
Assumption of site management tasks and coordination of work on site
Conducting site inspections and construction meetings as well as resolving technical execution issues
Responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality control during realisation
Review and coordination of workshop, contractor, and specialist planner documents
Support of acceptances, defect inspections, and completion work
Ensuring architectural and constructive quality from planning to handover
Qualifications:
Completed studies as Architect ETH/FH or equivalent recognised higher education
Several years of experience in planning and realisation of building construction projects in the Swiss market
Practical experience in site management and coordination of construction execution
Sound knowledge in detail, working, and execution planning as well as construction
Good knowledge of Swiss construction processes and relevant SIA standards
Good CAD skills, experience with Archicad is an advantage
Good German language skills spoken and written
