Full-Stack Developer - Open Source (80-100 %)

Tasks

In this position, you will take an active role in the further development and modernisation of the internal software landscape. We are looking for a technically skilled individual who not only develops but also thinks along, finds pragmatic solutions, and takes responsibility.

• Development and further development of internal software solutions with MariaDB, PHP and JavaScript
• Support of applications in areas such as ERP, production planning and internal test systems
• Modernisation of existing legacy applications and further development towards long-term maintainable solutions
• Development of clear and user-friendly user interfaces
• Work with containerised development and operating environments
• Evaluation of new technologies and pragmatic integration of sensible solutions into the existing system landscape
• Support of internal first-level support with technical questions
• Coordination and collaboration with external IT service providers
• Active shaping of technical processes and internal procedures
• Gradual assumption of additional responsibility with development opportunities towards process management

Your profile

• At least three years of professional experience in full-stack development
• Solid SQL knowledge and confident handling of relational databases
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and enjoyment in developing clean and user-friendly user interfaces
• Practical experience in development with PHP
• Experience with containerised development environments
• Broad technical understanding and the ability to familiarise yourself with existing systems and grown software structures
• Good sense for challenges at the interface between technology, processes and users
• Independent, structured and reliable working style
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented mentality with initiative
• Team-oriented, straightforward and responsible personality
• Interest in further professional development and taking on additional responsibility in the future

Working model

The position can be performed both from Switzerland and Germany. For residents in Germany, a remote model is possible. The prerequisite is the willingness to be on-site several times a month for personal collaboration at the Swiss location in the Baden area.
