Role:
You develop and operate sophisticated communication networks for safety-critical environments and ensure that they function reliably, stably, and securely even under high demands.
Responsibilities:
You design, implement, and document communication networks for facilities of the army, federal government, and emergency services.
You develop network concepts focusing on stability, security, and long-term operational reliability.
You configure, test, and commission network components in project and operational environments.
You support customers with technical queries and provide targeted network support within projects and service deployments.
You assist project managers with pre-sales activities, architectural questions, solution concepts, and quotations.
You analyse and resolve complex network and security issues in a 3rd-level environment.
Qualifications:
Completed technical education at tertiary level (HF, BSc, MSc or MAS) in engineering or a comparable qualification.
Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and routing as well as experience with communication security technologies.
Practical experience with Cisco, Juniper or Check Point.
Further training in IP communication, such as Cisco certifications, is advantageous.
Experience with microwave radio links or willingness to familiarise yourself with this area.
Very good German skills as well as good English skills at B2 level.
You are eager to learn, technically interested, and enjoy delving into new topics.
