As an engineer, you commit with us day by day to a secure energy supply for Zurich Airport. You bear technical responsibility for our heating and cooling supply and ensure the quality of our current supply infrastructure. Together with our specialists, you develop innovative solutions for heating, cooling, and decarbonisation and contribute to making Zurich Airport climate-neutral by 2040.

Your job destination

• You lead projects for our heating and cooling supply and ensure deadlines, costs, and quality. In doing so, you act in the role of client representation
• You continuously develop our energy systems and networks together with operations and maintenance and support with demanding technical issues
• You analyse malfunctions, identify optimisation potentials, and implement improvement measures
• You conduct safety analyses and conformity processes for self-constructed or modified systems
• You provide professional support in the comprehensive rollout of the energy and decarbonisation strategy in the area of heating and cooling

Your skills in your luggage

• You have a technical apprenticeship and a university of applied sciences degree as an engineer in mechanical engineering, heating/air conditioning technology, or similar
• You understand the energetic interrelationships and the current challenges of energy supply and decarbonisation
• You seek an optimum of supply security, ecology, and economy. You find this in concepts, variants, and as simple solutions as possible
• Preferably, you bring initial practical experience in district heating, district cooling, anergy, large cooling systems, combined heat and power (CHP), or MSRL knowledge
• Through your open-minded nature and close contact with our experts, you advance the energy supply as a team
