Financial Accountant (m/f/d) 80 to 100%

Location: Central Plateau Region / Bern/Solothurn (Hybrid with home office & hub in Zurich)

To strengthen the finance team, we are looking for a committed, numbers-savvy individual who enjoys taking responsibility and developing further.

• Independent management and supervision of the general and subsidiary ledgers for various group companies

• Responsibility for ongoing payment transactions and the posting of all bank transactions

• Management of asset accounting as well as reconciliation and processing of intercompany settlements

• Preparation of timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in close cooperation with the team leader

• Timely preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns

• Active participation in projects to optimise and digitalise financial processes

• Occasional deputising in the accounts receivable area and support with credit checks

• Completed further training as a specialist in finance and accounting with a federal diploma (or currently in training)

• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a comparable role or in fiduciary services

• Sound knowledge of financial statement preparation and solid knowledge of Swiss accounting law

• Confident use of MS Excel; knowledge of modern ERP systems (ideally MS Dynamics 365 Business Central) is a clear advantage

• Fluent German skills in spoken and written form, good English skills

• Structured, precise working style combined with curiosity and enjoyment in contributing own ideas
