Project Manager Construction Management (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the management and control of demanding building construction projects of various sizes and complexities. You will accompany clients from conception through planning and tendering to realisation and completion, taking on the central coordination of all project participants. The focus is on professional cost, schedule, quality, and risk management as well as the economical and technically flawless implementation of the projects. As the central interface, you represent the project interests vis-à-vis planners, contractors, authorities, and other partners.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management and control of building construction projects from conception to completion
Consulting and representation of clients and principals in technical, economic, and organisational matters
Leadership and coordination of architects, engineers, specialist planners, contractors, and authorities
Responsibility for project-related cost, schedule, and quality management
Preparation and monitoring of project budgets, cost estimates, cost forecasts, and schedules
Establishment of a systematic risk and change management as well as early control of project deviations
Conducting and leading project, client, and coordination meetings
Support with tendering, awarding, contract negotiations, and change order management
Negotiation with clients, planners, contractors, service providers, and suppliers
Monitoring of planning and execution quality and ensuring contractually agreed services
Preparation of project status reports, decision bases, and forecasts for clients and management
Use of Messerli, MS Project, and digital project management tools for structured project control
Qualifications:
Degree as Architect ETH/FH, Civil Engineer ETH/FH, Dipl. Technician HF or comparable construction technical qualification
Several years of experience in project management and control of construction projects in Swiss building construction
Sound knowledge in construction cost planning, schedule management, project controlling, and risk management
Good knowledge of Swiss construction and contract law as well as relevant SIA standards
Experience in tendering, awarding, contract and change order management
Confident handling of Messerli, MS Project, and MS Office
Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form
