IT Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will design and further develop the cloud platform to provide stable, secure and future-proof services. You will automate and optimise platform operations from system configuration through software deployment to managing complex workflows for service provisioning, system updates and other operational processes. You will ensure the stability, performance and availability of the platform, detect disruptions early and proactively resolve them where processes are not yet automated. Additionally, you will contribute to the provision of services for internal and external customers and work closely with development and operations to continuously improve applications and services. With your technical expertise in Windows and Linux systems, automation, containerisation, networking and security, you will make a significant contribution to the quality and further development of the platform.
Responsibilities:
Further develop cloud platform and services regarding stability, security and scalability
Automate provisioning and updates with Ansible, Infrastructure as Code and GitLab CI/CD
Ensure availability, performance and service quality through monitoring and OpenTelemetry
Operate platform and non-automated services proactively and continuously optimise them
Work with product development and cloud operations on reliable applications and services
Qualifications:
IT education at university/HF level or comparable qualification
Experience with virtualisation, Docker, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code and GitLab CI/CD
Knowledge of Vault, PKI, certificates as well as identity governance with IdP, IAM and PAM
Solid Linux and Windows knowledge including Bash, PowerShell as well as DNS, proxy and routing
Experience with observability/OpenTelemetry and understanding of ERP and e-commerce applications
