Head Building Physics Laboratory (a) 100%

In our building physics laboratory, the foundations for innovative and high-quality Geberit products are created. For the management of this competence centre (acoustics, statics, fire protection), we are looking for a technically skilled and strong leadership personality with a passion for building physics, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The role as Head Building Physics Laboratory particularly includes the following activities:

• You lead the building physics laboratory in technical, business management, and personnel terms (3 employees)
• You are responsible for the building physics expertise in the areas of acoustics, statics, and fire protection and ensure professional measurements, tests, as well as external fire tests including approvals with your team
• You actively drive innovations forward, introduce new technologies and trends, and make an important contribution to the further development of our products through innovation projects
• You advise and support product development and sales as a competent contact person on demanding building physics issues
• You prepare technical results appropriately for the target audience and act as an interface to internal and external stakeholders
• You maintain contact with universities and institutes and supervise and accompany interns

For this demanding and versatile role, you bring a completed university degree (Uni/ETH) in building physics, civil engineering, physics, or comparable fields. In addition, you are characterised by the following points:

• You have several years of professional experience in building physics, ideally in an industrial environment
• You think customer- and solution-oriented and find pragmatic as well as sustainable solutions for demanding issues
• You bring an innovative spirit and enjoy transferring new ideas and technologies into marketable solutions
• You enjoy a leadership role and have already successfully led a team
• You communicate confidently at different levels and can convey even complex technical contexts clearly and appropriately for the target group
• You communicate fluently in German and English
