Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional for architectural planning, project development and the creative implementation of demanding building projects in an established Swiss architectural environment. You will work on diverse new build and conversion projects in residential and commercial construction as well as additionally in the areas of hospitality and educational buildings. The focus is on design and construction project planning, feasibility studies, architectural competitions as well as BIM-supported project work with Archicad and teamwork via the BIM server. The position combines demanding architectural design and constructive detail development with the coordination of specialist planners, official clarifications and the creative supervision of construction execution.
Responsibilities:
Independent development of architectural designs and building projects for residential, commercial, hospitality and educational buildings
Development of architectural concepts, floor plan solutions and design ideas taking into account usage requirements, cost-effectiveness and structural feasibility
Preparation of feasibility studies, potential analyses and variant investigations including building law and urban planning clarifications
Participation in architectural competitions and prequalification procedures including concept development, planning documents, visualisations and competition documentation
Independent procurement and analysis of project basics such as existing documents, building regulations, usage requirements and official framework conditions
Preparation of preliminary project, construction project and building permit documents according to the relevant SIA planning phases
Digital project processing and 3D building modelling with Archicad including teamwork coordination via the BIM server
Coordination and integration of specialist planner services from structural engineering, building services, building physics and other disciplines
Conducting clarifications with authorities, specialist offices and expert committees as well as documenting and integrating the results into project planning
Development and creative review of constructive detail solutions considering materialisation, building envelope and interior finishing
Participation in work and execution planning as well as creative supervision of construction execution in close cooperation with project and execution management
Review and implementation of applicable Swiss SIA standards, building laws and planning guidelines as well as quality assurance of architectural and specialist planner documents
Qualifications:
Completed architecture studies ETH/FH (Bachelor or Master) or comparable recognised qualification in the field of architecture
Professional experience in design, project and building permit planning of building projects, ideally in residential and commercial construction
Sound knowledge in architectural conception, project development and constructive detail planning as well as experience with new build and conversion projects
Very good user knowledge in Archicad, especially in 3D modelling and teamwork project processing via the BIM server
Experience in preparing feasibility studies, competition entries or prequalification documents is an advantage
Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, cantonal building laws and approval procedures as well as coordination of interdisciplinary specialist planning
Good German language skills in spoken and written form for project documents, competition documentation, official clarifications and specialist planner coordination
