Architect / Draughtsman (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional as an FH architect, EFZ draughtsman specialising in architecture, or HF construction technician for an established architectural firm with diverse and demanding building projects. You will independently take on project, execution, and detailed planning and accompany construction projects from design development to structural implementation. The focus is on CAD planning with ArchiCAD, the constructive elaboration of buildings, and coordination with clients, specialist planners, and contractors. The position offers a high degree of personal responsibility as well as long-term development opportunities in architecture and building planning.

Responsibilities:

• Building project planning: Independently handling demanding new build, conversion, and renovation projects in various planning and realisation phases

• CAD planning with ArchiCAD: Creating and editing project, building permit, execution, and detail plans with ArchiCAD

• Execution planning: Developing technically precise working and execution plans considering construction, materials, and buildability

• Detail and construction planning: Developing facade, roof, wall, floor, and connection details as well as constructive solutions for demanding building projects

• 3D modelling and BIM: Creating and maintaining digital building models and supporting model-based planning and coordination processes

• Project processing according to SIA: Handling relevant SIA phases 31-53 from project planning through tendering to realisation

• Specialist planner coordination: Aligning architectural planning with structural engineers, building services planners, building physicists, and other disciplines

• Client coordination: Clarifying technical and design requirements with clients and project participants and implementing agreed project specifications

• Building permit and approval procedures: Preparing building permit plans, area calculations, and technical evidence for official approval procedures

• Plan management and quality assurance: Checking and updating plan versions, CAD data, detail drawings, and execution documents

• Material and construction clarifications: Reviewing building materials, component systems, and construction variants regarding functionality, cost-effectiveness, and feasibility

• Technical project coordination: Supporting planning meetings, contractor clarifications, and resolving execution details during realisation

Qualifications:

• Completed studies as FH architect or training as EFZ draughtsman specialising in architecture or certified HF technician in building planning

• Solid professional experience in project, execution, and detail planning of building projects

• Very good user knowledge of ArchiCAD, especially in 2D plan editing, 3D building modelling, and creation of execution plans

• In-depth knowledge of building construction, materials, detailing, and technical building planning

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, building regulations, and approval procedures as well as experience in project management according to SIA

• Experience in coordination with clients, specialist planners, and contractors as well as independent handling of architectural projects

• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing for technical planning, project documentation, and communication with project participants
