PROJECT MANAGER VENTILATION (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Ventilation / Air Conditioning for an established Swiss building technology company specialising in indoor air technology, ventilation systems, and air conditioning system solutions. You will independently manage demanding ventilation projects from the preparation of offers through technical planning and installation coordination to commissioning. The focus is on technical project management, customer consulting, supplier coordination, and ensuring cost-, schedule- and quality-compliant implementation. The position combines practical building technology, entrepreneurial project management, and customer-oriented consulting with long-term development opportunities, modern working tools, and regulated employment conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Independent overall project management of ventilation and air conditioning projects from customer inquiry and offer preparation to successful commissioning and handover

• Technical clarification and design of indoor air technology systems considering structural conditions, customer requirements, and applicable regulations

• Preparation and calculation of offers including material requirements, installation effort, technical services, and project-specific costs

• Planning and coordination of project execution with responsibility for deadlines, costs, quality, and economic project success

• Technical and scheduling coordination with suppliers and manufacturers regarding system components, material availability, delivery times, and product specifications

• Organisation and coordination of installation work including deployment planning, material disposition, and coordination with executing installation teams

• Competent advice and support for customers on technical issues, system solutions, and project-specific requirements

• Support of sales and order acquisition through technical consulting, development of suitable solution proposals, and clarification of customer needs

• Coordination with clients, specialist planners, and other building technology trades to ensure smooth integration of ventilation systems

• Quality assurance during execution including checking installation quality, control of technical requirements, and handling any deviations

• Accompaniment of functional checks, commissioning, and system handovers including coordination of required tests and documentation

• Creation and maintenance of technical project documents such as material lists, execution documentation, system descriptions, and handover documents

Qualifications:

• Completed technical apprenticeship in ventilation or air conditioning, for example as a ventilation system builder EFZ or building technology planner ventilation EFZ

• Further training as a technician HF building technology, project manager building technology, or equivalent qualification is an advantage

• Several years of professional experience in ventilation and air conditioning technology with a solid understanding of indoor air technology systems, components, and installation processes

• Experience in project execution and technical customer support, ideally from offer preparation through execution to commissioning

• Knowledge in calculation, material disposition, and supplier coordination as well as understanding of economic and timely project processes

• Confident use of common digital tools for offer preparation, project organisation, and technical documentation

• Flawless German language skills in spoken and written form as well as an independent, resilient, and team-oriented working style with strong organisational skills
