On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced sales professional as International Sales Manager Packaging Technology. The company offers an internationally oriented industrial environment with innovative packaging machines, banding technologies, and automated packaging solutions. The position combines international market development, technical customer consulting, and strategic business expansion. It offers a high degree of creative freedom, demanding industrial customers, and the opportunity to successfully position innovative machine solutions in international markets.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the international sales of banding machines and automated packaging systems
Strategic expansion of existing sales markets, distribution partners, and international customer relationships
Acquisition of new industrial customers, OEM manufacturers, and strategic sales partners
Technical and commercial consulting on packaging automation, banding technology, and integrated machine solutions
Conducting international customer visits, product presentations, and contract negotiations
Preparation and negotiation of technical offers, project calculations, and framework agreements
Responsibility for sales planning, market analyses, forecasts, and international sales strategies
Qualifications:
Completed technical training or degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, automation, or packaging technology
Several years of experience in international technical B2B sales, ideally in machine or plant engineering
Sound knowledge of packaging machines, automation solutions, or industrial production systems
Experience in international distributor management, project sales, and contract negotiations as well as willingness to travel internationally for business
Fluent German skills and business fluent English skills
