Role:
Modern workplaces stand or fall with a stable client platform. As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you take responsibility for Windows and mobile devices in a Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. You technically develop the digital workplace further and consistently drive automation. Your expertise is especially in demand when things get complex and a thorough analysis is required.
Responsibilities:
You administer Microsoft Intune for Windows, iOS, and Android and further develop compliance policies, configuration profiles, and security guidelines.
Additionally, you package applications and distribute them automatically to the devices.
You independently manage patch management, update rings, as well as feature and quality updates of the client environment.
You automate onboarding and offboarding, license assignments, and recurring processes with PowerShell.
Furthermore, you analyse complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support and conduct root cause analyses.
You also plan changes, migrations, and lifecycle measures and further develop standards and operational concepts.
Qualifications:
You have at least 3 years of experience in workplace, client, or endpoint engineering.
You are well acquainted with Windows 10/11 and M365 services such as OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint from practical experience.
You possess solid know-how in Intune, MDM, MAM, and device enrolment.
Additionally, you have experience with Windows Autopilot, software packaging, and Windows Update for Business.
You understand the interplay of endpoint management, identity, and security and independently solve complex client and deployment problems.
You also confidently use PowerShell for automating administrative tasks.
