The Neuchâtel Police ensures safety and public order throughout the canton of Neuchâtel. Close to the population, we act with professionalism, discernment and respect for fundamental rights to prevent crime, protect people and property, and enforce the law. Your tasks
On a daily basis, you participate in the administrative tasks of the Neuchâtel Police and discover a variety of activities. This gives you the opportunity to develop your skills and gradually gain autonomy. Thanks to a diverse training programme, you will explore several administrative sectors, including logistics, finance, documentation and reporting, mobile traffic management, human resources and training, as well as executive and judicial police secretariats. You will join motivated and supportive teams who will accompany you throughout your apprenticeship. You can put your knowledge into practice, acquire new skills and prepare yourself as best as possible for your future professional life.
Your profile
You will complete your compulsory schooling in 2027 and are interested in administrative work, IT and public service. Comfortable with writing in French (level 2) as well as with numbers, you are methodical, organised, sociable and enjoy teamwork.
