Case Manager for Externally Placed Unaccompanied Minor Refugees 80%
ZurichYour Tasks
- You take on case management as well as social work and educational responsibility for unaccompanied minor refugees (UMR) in external living arrangements such as homes, foster families or with relatives.
- You organise and coordinate suitable day structures and follow-up solutions and implement the Zurich Integration Agenda (IAZH).
- You support the young people individually and according to their needs in the career choice and application process as well as in school and vocational training measures.
- You network all parties involved in the case – both internal and external – and ensure efficient and goal-oriented collaboration.
- You act as the central contact person with an overview of the entire integration process and ensure clear, binding procedures.
- You take on administrative and financial tasks, monitor social assistance benefits and ensure correct accounting.
- You plan and review support goals, evaluate developments and contribute to the further development of concepts and offers.
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Social Work (FH) or comparable qualification
- Experience working with young people, ideally in the migration or integration context
- Knowledge in case management, socio-educational support and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Experience in accompanying educational and integration processes as well as coaching young people is an advantage
- Confident handling of administrative and organisational tasks as well as interest in financial and billing processes
- Independent, structured and resilient working style with a high sense of responsibility Good communication skills, appreciative attitude and enjoyment in working with young people in challenging life situations

Your Salary
Your gross salary for a 100% workload is expected to be between 90,000 and 116,000 Swiss francs per year.
The exact salary depends on your education and professional experience. During the selection process, we will determine your salary based on our salary guidelines. Applicants who do not yet have the required knowledge or experience may be classified below the salary range in individual cases. Additionally, AOZ pays allowances for work at night and on Sundays. Further salary development depends on your performance and AOZ's financial possibilities.
