Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional for architectural planning and technical project processing of demanding industrial, commercial and retail buildings in a professional Swiss planning environment. You will independently create and process building permit, execution and detail plans using ArchiCAD and accompany diverse new build and conversion projects from planning to realisation. The focus is on precise 2D and 3D plan processing, constructive detail development and coordination of technical planning documents with project management and specialist planners. The position combines solid drafting expertise with modern CAD and 3D modelling and offers a varied field of activity in planning functional and architecturally demanding buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Independent creation and processing of architectural plans for industrial, commercial and retail projects in new build and conversion

• Preparation of building permit, project, execution and detail plans according to the requirements of the respective SIA planning phases

• Digital architectural planning with ArchiCAD including 2D drawings, 3D building models and constructive plan processing

• Development and drafting implementation of construction details for building envelope, facades, roof structures, interior fittings and technical connections

• Processing and coordination of plan adjustments due to project changes, feedback from specialist planners and technical requirements

• Ensuring the quality, completeness and consistency of all planning documents through plan reviews, revision controls and structured documentation

• Supporting project management in technical project processing including planning coordination, detail clarifications and preparation of decision-making bases

• Coordination with specialist planners from structural engineering, building services and other special disciplines to clarify planning interfaces and constructive requirements

• Creation and maintenance of digital 3D building models as well as support in model-based planning and coordination

• Participation in the preparation of building permit documents considering building law requirements, usage demands and project-specific conditions

• Preparation of technical planning documents for tenders and construction execution including detail drawings, plan attachments and material specifications

• Updating and documenting project and execution plans to ensure a current and comprehensible planning basis

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a draftsman/woman EFZ specialising in architecture with solid knowledge in architectural planning and building construction

• Ideally professional experience in execution planning of building projects, especially in the creation of working, detail and building permit plans

• Confident handling of ArchiCAD, including 2D plan processing, 3D modelling and digital project organisation

• Good knowledge of building construction, materialisation and technical execution details as well as understanding of cross-trade planning interfaces

• Interest in industrial, commercial and retail buildings as well as in planning functional buildings with specific operational and technical requirements

• Knowledge of the Swiss SIA planning phases and relevant building regulations as well as experience in coordination and quality assurance of planning documents

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation, planning coordination and collaboration with project management and specialist planners
