Production Employee / Machine Operator Animal Rendering 100% (m/f/d)
Our client: Takes on an important role for the Swiss meat industry. Approximately 90,000 tonnes of animal by-products and slaughter waste are processed, sterilised and further processed into usable products such as animal fat and meat and bone meal annually. In addition, our client fulfils a public disposal mandate and makes a significant contribution to disease prevention and the circular economy.

Important to know:

• Contact with animal by-products, slaughter waste and animal carcasses

• Working in areas with strong odours

• Handling blood, fat, tissue and organ residues

• Working in warm, humid or sometimes noisy production environments

• Completed vocational training or professional experience in production or industry

• Technical understanding and interest in production facilities

• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system

• Good physical condition and resilience

• Willingness to work in an environment with odours and animal by-products

• Reliable, independent and responsible working style

• Good German language skills, spoken and written

• Receipt and inspection of delivered raw materials

• Monitoring and control of production facilities

• Monitoring production processes on state-of-the-art equipment

• Carrying out quality and process controls

• Ensuring a smooth production process

• Assisting with maintenance, revision and repair work

• Thorough cleaning of machines, equipment and production areas

• Removal of production residues

• Compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations
