In this responsible role as a Senior Network Engineer 100% (m/f), you will immediately or by arrangement take over the planning, further development and operation of international network infrastructures at our Service Centre Schlieren. You will design modern, secure and highly available communication networks and work closely with internal IT teams as well as external service providers.

Your Tasks
- Creation and further development of system architectures for large IP-based communication networks (CISCO, Meraki, Nokia)
- Development of network, security and operational concepts
- Planning of hardware, software and infrastructure development steps
- Documentation of configurations, network designs and security architectures
- Planning, implementation and rollout of network infrastructures domestically and abroad
- 3rd-level support in the areas of LAN, WAN, WLAN, LTE, firewall and proxy
- Quality assurance and monitoring of international lines (WAN providers)
- Opening, coordination and support of provider tickets
- Operation, maintenance and further development of a lab environment
- Close cooperation with other IT departments, specialist areas and external service providers
Your Profile
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, HF, FH or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in IT system and enterprise network architecture
- Extensive know-how as a Senior Network Engineer in routing protocols, LTE and firewall technologies
- Practical experience with technologies such as VLANs, VPNs, STP, DHCP, DNS, HSRP, NAT, IP addressing and NetFlow
- Experience with segmentation, Python, QoS, ZBF, VRF and OSPF
- Network certifications, for example Cisco CCNP or comparable, are an advantage
- High degree of personal responsibility, solution-oriented working style and willingness to learn new things
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
- Willingness to travel occasionally domestically and abroad, approx. 10%
- Very good German and English skills
- Italian or French skills are an advantage
- Driving licence category B
