Senior Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)
With more than twenty years of experience in the telecommunications industry, this ROCKEN partner has achieved significant success and steady growth, expanding its global customer base year after year. Our ROCKEN partner offers all services required for setting up international roaming between two mobile network operators.
Responsibilities:
Installation, upgrade and support of the server and storage infrastructure
Planning and further development of the IT infrastructure together with service management and infrastructure management
Automation and optimisation of IT processes and systems
Administration of VMware, NetApp, Linux, Windows, Cisco UCS and Oracle DB
Ensuring stable IT operations including fault resolution, support organisation and on-call service
Qualifications:
Completed IT/computer science training as well as initial professional experience in a technical environment
Knowledge of Linux, Windows, virtualisation, storage, compute, system security and automation
Structured and efficient working method as well as experience in work and project planning
Dynamic, reliable and proactive personality with strong problem-solving skills
Very good communication skills and confident manner in an international environment; German language skills mandatory
