SV (Switzerland) Ltd
SV is a leading catering and hotel management group based in Dübendorf, near Zurich. The group operates in several sectors: restaurants for companies and schools, hotels with their own brands as well as other renowned brands as franchise partners, public restaurants with innovative concepts, a gourmet delivery service and a catering service. SV employs around 5500 people, including 3300 in Switzerland.
SV originated from the non-profit organisation "Schweizer Verband Soldatenwohl", founded in 1914. Else Züblin-Spiller created soldiers’ homes throughout the country and served balanced and inexpensive meals there. The SV Foundation continues the founder’s ideals today. This public utility foundation is the majority shareholder of SV and uses its funds to support projects promoting healthy nutrition or the common good.
