ICT Supporter (m/f/d)
Our partner is a family-run company headquartered in Switzerland and a market leader for automated personal and goods protection on busy railways in Europe. Railway automation and highly available radio systems complement the product range and market segments.
The company employs around 210 people and operates in several countries with locations in Switzerland, Germany, England, Italy, Austria and Spain – as well as sales partners in Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Chile, Poland, France, Portugal and Morocco, carefully selecting its partners to responsibly fulfil its safety-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- You competently support employees in 1st and 2nd level support for IT and telephony issues
- In this role, you administer and maintain the client infrastructure and ensure smooth IT operations
- As an ICT Supporter, you install, configure, deliver and prepare clients for reinstallation
- You procure, manage and coordinate hardware, software and peripherals and handle repairs
- In this role, you create and maintain training materials, user documentation and instructions
- As an ICT Supporter, you conduct user training, support the introduction of new systems and contribute to ICT projects and the optimisation of IT processes
Qualifications:
- You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ in the field of computer science or system technology or have a comparable qualification
- You have several years of experience in 1st and 2nd level support as well as in client management
- You are very proficient in the Microsoft environment with Microsoft 365, Teams, Windows operating systems, Active Directory/directory services as well as SCCM or comparable client management solutions
- You handle hardware, peripherals and mobile devices confidently
- You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner and are characterised by a pronounced hands-on mentality
- You bring a high level of service orientation, enjoy direct contact with users and have very good German and good English skills
