You develop uniform security profiles for heterogeneous server platforms and reduce attack surfaces through consistent configuration controls.
You standardise technical operational processes, automate recurring tasks and establish transparent procedures for system monitoring, maintenance windows and version changes.
You analyse alerts from security solutions, investigate anomalies and coordinate immediate responses as well as targeted measures to minimise risks.
You integrate internal policies and legal protection requirements into technical control mechanisms and create comprehensible documentation for audits and information protection.
You coordinate security measures with platform managers, governance functions and other stakeholders and support the ongoing optimisation of the IT protection architecture.
Qualifications:
You have completed IT vocational training or an equivalent qualification and wish to further develop professionally, for example with GIAC, CompTIA, Red Hat or Microsoft certifications.
You bring experience with server operation and system automation and preferably use Python, Bash, PowerShell or Go for technical tasks.
You are familiar with methods for automated enforcement of configuration standards and have ideally worked with Terraform, Pulumi, Puppet, Chef or AWX.
You understand vulnerability management, security monitoring and access protection; knowledge of Wazuh, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Elastic Security or Rapid7 is an advantage.
You act methodically, take responsibility and can explain technical risks appropriately to the audience. Even with differing interests in the public sector, you remain reliable and solution-oriented.
