Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for client representation and development of residential properties in existing stock and new builds. You will take overall responsibility for renovation and new build projects from the initial strategic idea through planning, approval, and realisation to commissioning. In addition to classic project management, you will deal with condition analyses, property strategies, investment planning, and development potentials of an existing property portfolio. A particular focus is on economically sustainable solutions as well as on the renovation of residential properties while occupied.
Responsibilities:
Assuming client representation for demanding renovation, renewal, and new build projects in residential construction
Overall management of projects from project development and feasibility to realisation and commissioning
Conducting and evaluating condition analyses and deriving appropriate renovation and investment measures
Developing long-term property and investment strategies for substance preservation and economic optimisation of the property portfolio
Analysing potential land and property acquisitions regarding area potential, investment requirements, and structural development possibilities
Building and leading the project organisation involving internal and external stakeholders
Organising and accompanying study assignments, planner selection procedures, and project developments
Mandating and managing architects, specialist planners, general and total contractors, as well as other specialists
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, and project risks as well as ongoing monitoring of target achievement
Managing building permit procedures, tenders, and awards
Accompanying renovations while occupied considering structural and operational conditions
Responsibility for construction reporting, cost control, decision-making bases, and construction documentation
Qualifications:
Higher technical education in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, or project management, e.g. FH/HF or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in client representation, construction management, or project leadership in Swiss building construction
Solid experience with new builds and renovations, ideally with residential properties while occupied
Knowledge in property development, condition analysis, investment planning, and construction cost management
Thorough knowledge of Swiss planning, approval, and construction processes as well as relevant SIA standards
Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and fluent German language skills in spoken and written form
Driving licence category B
