Legal Specialist Social Assistance (a)
60% - 80% | Lucerne | fixed term 01.12.2026 - 30.06.2027 (Maternity cover)
Law and practice come together in this role: You mediate in inter-cantonal jurisdictional questions, advise municipal social services and contribute your legal expertise to projects and the fulfilment of the department's tasks - versatile and effective.
Your tasks
- You competently advise municipal and cantonal authorities on issues of economic social assistance and maintenance support.
- You are responsible for case management in accordance with the Federal Act on the Responsibility for Supporting Needy Persons (ZUG).
- You independently develop guidelines and instructions for social assistance practice in the canton of Lucerne.
- You also contribute your legal expertise in internal administrative project and working groups as well as in legal support for all employees of the department.
Your profile
- You hold a Master of Law, professional experience with administrative law reference is desirable.
- Training or further education in social work is an advantage.
- You convince with your communication and presentation skills.
- Structured thinking and solution-oriented action are among your strengths.
- Experience in collaboration with municipalities and organisations as well as independence, flexibility and initiative complete your profile.
