What you can achieve.
- As an operational manager for warning systems, you oversee the nationwide warning systems throughout their entire lifecycle from planning to decommissioning, thus contributing to safety on the railway.
- You manage the nationwide warning systems over their entire lifecycle and ensure their reliable operation. In doing so, you support local superusers and safety management with technical questions. If necessary, you ensure knowledge transfer through training.
- You contribute technical expertise to new projects and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations for safe work sites.
- Within the contractual and commercial framework, you act as the primary contact person for warning system providers and other stakeholders.
- You manage projects for safety systems in the field on behalf of project and asset management as well as life cycle management.
- In collaboration with strategic asset management, you participate in product evaluations and procurements according to public procurement law.

- You have an interest in safety on railway construction sites and are open to new technologies. Professional experience in the field of railway warning systems is an advantage.
- Ideally, you have a higher technical education at HF or FH level and experience in safety management functions is desirable.
- You command German or French at least at level C1 and ideally another national language at level B2. You have technical English at least at level B1.
