Cyberattacks, cloud migrations, and new technologies change the IT landscape daily. At the same time, the demands on security, compliance, and data protection are increasing. Many risks do not arise from missing tools but from a lack of clarity.
This is exactly where you come in.
As a Senior IT Security Consultant, you develop security strategies, analyse complex IT environments, and support organisations in sustainably anchoring security in practice. You combine technical depth with strategic thinking and turn challenges into concrete measures.
Responsibilities:
You analyse existing IT landscapes, identify security risks, and develop clear recommendations for action. You conduct security assessments, evaluate vulnerabilities, and create understandable roadmaps for implementation.
You develop modern security concepts and architectures around Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, Zero Trust, governance, and compliance. You keep an eye not only on technology but also on the requirements of organisations.
You conduct workshops, moderate discussions with various stakeholders, and ensure that security topics are understood and implemented. Your goal: to create security solutions that not only work on paper but deliver real added value in everyday life.
You accompany security projects from the initial analysis through solution design to successful implementation. You work closely with specialist departments, IT teams, and external partners and actively contribute your experience.
You also support the further development of security services, quality assurance, and the design of sustainable security solutions.
Qualifications:
You have several years of experience in IT Security, for example as a Security Consultant, Security Engineer, or Security Architect, and are familiar with the challenges of complex IT environments.
You have sound knowledge in at least one relevant security area such as Microsoft Security (Defender, Entra ID, Purview, M365), Azure Security, IAM, Endpoint Security, or Network Security.
You understand security principles such as Zero Trust, Defence in Depth, and Risk Management not only theoretically but have already successfully implemented them in practice.
You work in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner. At the same time, you find it easy to communicate complex technical topics clearly and engage various stakeholders.
You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills.
