With nearly 1,500 employees, the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics (DRG) is a medical centre focused on the elderly and is spread across 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour and Joli-Mont. It manages acute situations, notably through the emergency services at the Trois-Chêne Hospital, age-specific issues, medical rehabilitation and palliative care.
The Joli-Mont Clinic receives patients following treatment for medical and surgical pathologies, notably orthopaedic. It offers multidisciplinary care focused on rehabilitation, integrating the specificities of the elderly, physical and psychological symptoms, as well as the medico-social problems of patients. The aim of the stay is to restore autonomy with a view to a safe return home. The clinic also cares for patients in palliative care in a dedicated unit, as well as people awaiting placement in nursing homes.
As part of your duties, you will provide patients, the public and staff with courteous, personalised and competent reception, both face-to-face and by telephone, including operating the switchboard. Your dynamism, sense of service and hospitality, and respect for confidentiality are qualities already recognised and highlighted.
You will inform, direct and even accompany anyone presenting at the receptions and collaborate with other services involved in the reception chain (admissions, care units, consultation centres, etc.). You are capable of working independently while demonstrating mutual support and collaboration.
You contribute to the monitoring and security of the establishment.
You will carry out all admission formalities for hospitalised or outpatient patients, ensuring compliance with institutional procedures.
You are responsible for all tasks related to billing, requests for coverage of hospital stays with insurers, and patient file control. You also ensure the quality of final invoices within the deadlines. To do this, you rely on your excellent organisational skills, respect for procedures, and your ability to manage priorities and stress.
Qualifications
You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification and have a good command of computer tools (Office suite).
You have at least 2 years of successful experience in a similar position.
You are recognised for your organisation, rigour and autonomy. You have excellent interpersonal skills, including with elderly people.
You also have the tools to handle unforeseen events and easily manage stressful situations.
Finally, you demonstrate a strong sense of confidentiality.
