Project Manager HVAC (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced specialist for the overall project management of demanding building technology projects in the HVAC sector. You will take on the technical, organisational and economic responsibility for integral building technology planning and accompany diverse construction projects from the initial concept study to handover to the client. The focus is on the planning and realisation of energy-efficient HVAC systems, leading interdisciplinary planning teams, as well as cost, schedule and quality management. The position combines sustainable building technology, technical project management and client consulting with high personal responsibility and modern, flexible working conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Independent overall project management of demanding building technology projects from feasibility study through design to realisation and handover

• Responsibility for the integral planning and coordination of the HVAC trades heating, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling and sanitary

• Technical and organisational leadership of interdisciplinary planning teams as well as coordination of internal specialist planners and external project participants

• Management of projects across all relevant SIA service phases including definition of project goals, milestones and technical requirements

• Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality management including budget monitoring, resource planning and ongoing project controlling

• Development and evaluation of energy-efficient building technology and supply concepts considering sustainability, economic efficiency and life cycle costs

• Technical coordination of building technology systems with architecture, structural engineering, electrical planning, building automation and other disciplines

• Quality assurance of technical calculations, planning concepts and execution documents according to applicable Swiss standards and guidelines

• Direct consulting and support of clients on technical, energetic and economic issues

• Organisation and leadership of project and coordination meetings as well as ensuring efficient information flow between project participants

• Support of tenders, awards and construction execution including technical evaluation of contractor offers and clarification of execution details

• Coordination of commissioning, functional tests and system acceptance as well as ensuring complete project documentation and handover

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a building services planner EFZ, preferably with a focus on heating, ventilation or air conditioning

• Advanced technical training as a certified technician HF building services or building services engineer FH is an advantage

• Several years of proven professional experience in planning and realising HVAC systems as well as independent management of demanding building technology projects

• Sound knowledge in integral building technology planning, technical coordination and project execution across several SIA service phases

• Experience in technical leadership of interdisciplinary planning teams as well as collaboration with clients, architects and specialist planners

• Confident handling of common CAD, planning and project management applications as well as knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA standards and building technology guidelines

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for client consulting and technical project management; French language skills are an advantage
